Well,
Bad News! I messed up the model of the PBY-2. So I had to reorder another kit and start over! So I have now started over on the PBY! I hope to have it done soon and some pics of the dio on this site soon. Sorry for the delay!
Best Regards to All!

Bravo Pavel!
Well any way, I am now building the new PBY-2 for the diorama. I will try to get pics of this as soon as I finish it. I want to get this done for our IPMS Show at the end of March 08.
Regards,

Hey Dan
Looks like I got back just in time for the unveiling. Can't wait to see the diorama.

I've been quiet over the last little while, but like Panther 44, glad I got back in time to witness this.

Hello to all!
Sorry it has been so long since I have been on the U-47 Fourm. I have just returned home from taking my diorama to an IPMS show. It took 2nd place. So it didn't do too bad.
Regards to all again!

Hi Dan,
Good to hear your diorama did well in the contest. Second at IPMS is a good result so well done! It would be particularly good to see your dio as it is quite different from the norm. I take it the boat was above the waterline only. So that means making water. What did you use for the water? I recall a product (something like Woodland Scenic?) was supposed to be good for that.
There is a new Type II kit in 72nd scale. Might be your next subject? Hope you have space for your developing fleet of U-boots!
Cheers,
Dougie

Might have to designate one room in your house "The Pen" and just explain it as a "has to be done" thing to the wife.
Just don't ask her to start calling you "Herr Kaleun" and all should be well.
