I finally made a banner for my own site. I borrowed a piece of the u47 site banner for it:

Hi Trigger
Like your site! Nice aquarium! I tried to visit the Robbe site but can't, says there is to much traffic or some such thing, have to check it out later.

Hi Panther
Thanks! Te Robbe site is back again. The link should go directly to the u47 model, but that may have changed. This should be it: http://at.robbe-online.net/rims_at.storefront/47625da60006eb ba271b3e0dc1460626/Product/View/1&2D1114 Or just search for u47 on the site

Hi All
It has been a long time since I posted here but with one thing and another time and events have passed by. I am still looking intio and researching the German Bieber, and of course Hans Bartels. Which is why I am back scouring boards of past to see if and where any information I gained was obtained and help derived.
In my research I was aproached by a now retired obviously seargent of the Lincolnshire Regiment in 1945. While based in the netherlands he claims and I have no reason to disbelieve what he says to of been in a group who sunk several German mini subs. His position was on the R.Waal/Nijmegan. Now I cannot find any activity there regarding the Bieber but wonder if this may be some of the so thaught lost ones still in action, or indeed another type of mini sub.
I wonder if anyone here can through a bit of light on tis for me. This is my first port of call on the forums side of things so any help would be great at this time.
Once again hello to all old friends and hopefully new.
Graham

Ok, I'm dutch, so I'll start :-) First of all it's Nijmegen with an E in stead of A. Not sure how limited the search engines are, but it's better to get things straight.
Second, any idea what is meant by R.Waal? I assume it means river Waal, which is the name of the river that runs through Nijmegen.
Not much, but it's a start :-)
