My car is currently in the repair shop, and I can’t do
without a car because I work in a neighboring city and need
to be driving all the time. Where can I rent a car for a
few days without a deposit? I’m short on money at the
moment since everything went into ordering parts for my
car.

It’s unlikely that you’ll find a car without a deposit. Any
rental company that lets you rent a car for a period of
time requires at least some deposit. The only option might
be to find a company where the deposit is relatively small.

Private rental companies usually require a deposit, but
when dealing with individual car owners, you can often
arrange to pay only for the rental days without any upfront
payment. Explore options for rent to own cars no deposit
here: https://getrentacar.com/en-US/car-rental .
And you should be able to find a suitable vehicle.

The main thing is to check the car’s condition before
renting from a private owner. Otherwise, you might end up
in court later, being blamed for damaging the car if it
already has some issues.
