Though a simple nod to the past, the Nike Air Max 1 for Men/Women is anything but tired ¡ª the silhouette and the colorway working their way seamlessly into current sneaker culture. And though somewhat overshadowed by the Air Max 90¡®s and Air Max 95¡®s birthday celebrations, the model is stealing the spotlight back by way of its returning ¡°Anniversary¡± series; this pair just one part of a likely large itinerary.
At a glance, the design is unassuming ¡ª and fittingly so ¡ª as the brand effectively winds the clock back to appropriate the Nike Air Max 1 Shoes OG likeness. Colored mudguards are dressed with the titular shade, accenting underneath matching logo hits at the tongue, eye stay molds, and the chiseled profile Swooshes. Amsterdam-based DENHAM is the latest institution to assist Nike in bringing denim to sneaker-form as its Nike Air Max 1 Sale UK collaboration is slated to drop during summer. One of three Air Max silhouettes transformed by the Dutch brand, the Air Max 1 is clad in ¡°Blue Void¡± and ¡°Coastal Blue¡±, and constructed with a mix of premium quality denim, suede, and leather. Unlike an adjacent Air Max 90 and Air Max 95, the ¡¯87 model also features soft-colored patterns throughout its upper achieved by Boro stitch.
Elsewhere, profile Swooshes and laces interrupt the predominantly-indigo palette with their ¡°White¡± arrangement. Nike Air Max 1 Online Red stitching adds flair to the iconic sidewall logo, just as it does on the ¡°Vachetta Tan¡± label on the tongue. ¡°NIKE AIR¡±-branded suede panels at the heel further indulge in the light brown hue, while Airbags underfoot deviate from their subtle-styled sole unit in scarlet. Rounding out the pair, black ¡°DENHAM The Jean Maker¡± text lines the inner collar and accompanied by golden scissors atop a red sockliner.
With golf being one of the only sports in which social distancing is made possible, it makes sense that folks would be more inclined to flock towards the fairways for physical activity as they navigate through this global pandemic.
