I was not able to return to the u-boot ehrenmal to look for a U-201 memorial :( I was glad I made it home in reasonable time as it was. Geez, the so praised german highways were heavy under construction. But... my wife realy enjoyed the hotel, so I'll probably be going back someday. See if there is anything left of the shipyard the warships were made.
Note to Herr Kaleun: since this is a type VII/C which is not that different from the type VII/B you may want to use some pictures to show at the boat pages ?? If have lots more, so if you wish I can make them available to you. Photography was allowed for non-commercial purposes, so I guess you can use the images.
