| In celebration of Vince
Carter's storied career and his tenure with the Toronto Raptors, the
fneutl.com has debuted in
a "Raptors" iteration overseas, which will be dropping stateside
soon. The classic basketball sneaker bears smooth and tumbled black leather
uppers, while Court Purple, University Red, and silver detailing all
throughout the shoe complete the retro Raptors theme. Finally, subdued 3M
reflective claw marks on the side panels and the signature Shox heel unit
finish off the style. |
| In the past year, the

forefoot in silver thread. |
| From apparel to chancletas
(aka slides), Pharrell and adidas have kept each other busy throughout 2020.
Their next joint-effort arrives on September 11th in the form of the
adidas crazy byw white on
feet. An evolution of the Feet You Wear line popular in the '90s, this
Boost-cushioned basketball silhouette maintains the sock-like arrangement of
the first BYW (Boost You Wear) release from 2017 and implements both a
lock-down strap and zippered shroud. "Silver Metallic" 3-Stripes
extend from lateral midfoot to just above the medial forefoot, which features
a large suede overlay for durability. The high-top collar is lined with
"Cloud White", while the bulk of the mixed-materials upper is clad
in "Core Black". Underfoot, the aggressive, eye-catching sole unit
further indulges in a classic two-tone colorway reminiscent of the Pro Model
2G; the "Freddy"-branded tread reveals Boost through the center. |
| After partnering up with
the Three Stripes for a NMD and Solar HU collection last Fall season, Human
Made – NIGO's burgeoning streetwear brand – is expanding its collaborative
efforts into the new decade. The last time the two parties teamed up, much of
their design language was kept to a minimum, and it looks like more of that
same DNA is being applied to their newest offering which brings the iconic
adidas stan smith women white
silhouette to the helm. Utilizing the ever-popular "Cloud White"
and "Green" palette, NIGO modernizes the classic model through his
imprint's lens by making subtle-yet-effective modifications to the branded
panels. The lateral sides now feature the shape of his signature heart logo,
which ironically works perfectly for this project considering it also
displays three stripes poking out from its side, while the medial panels
lightly switch up its traditional look by adjusting its branding to
red-filled heart symbols. |
