Sunday, the 30th of September is my 52 birthday. I will celebrate by going out to dinner with my family and my Mother and Father as well. I hope I get a new U-Boat model for a present!!! Just wishing!

Compliments on your 52nd Birthday! It would seem that I'm the youngest hand aboard here - 19 on Oct. 14.

If you were only nineteen, alte kamerad, you wouldn't have learnt the important lesson about "not drinking to excess every opportunity" I just learnt. One of my mates had a bit of a fun time with tequila and woke up in Chinatown - strangely enough with both his kidneys. I'm putting him in for an award: Only White Guy to Fall Asleep in Chinatown And Come Back with All Internal Organs Award, 2007.

And of course, happy birthday to all those who've got a few decades on me.
