Sneaker culture is so wrapped up in hip-hop today that it¡¯s never too surprising to see a brand work with an artist dominating the Bilboard charts. Converse Whether that be the remnants from the early aughts sneaker boom or the holdover from Yeezy madness, it¡¯s always a welcomed development when a brand deviates from the norm. Luckily we still have Converse to branch out and collaborate with some of the more iconic bands of past decades like their most recent pairing with Black Sabbath atop the ever-classic Chuck Taylor All Star.
Anderson brings the same level of clean and effortless style to the Converse , each done in special modified constructions and featuring artwork from one of his favorite board graphics of the past. The art by Evan Hecox is found on the tongue of each recycled poly-cotton canvas-constructed model, including the Chuck Taylor Hi in black and white and the One Star Ox in pale yellow, while the artist also created a new piece found on each insole.
Today we take a closer look at the limited Knicks version of the Buy Converse Game Day. This model from the Converse x NBA Collection includes 250 individually numbered limited-edition pairs for each NBA team. Every shoe is made of authentic NBA jerseys and backed with a leather lining. Its leather interior features embossed NBA logos and collaborative Converse x NBA woven labels under the shoe¡¯s tongue.
The New York Knicks are one of the five NBA franchises that got their very own Converse Sale High NBA Legend release. The Chuck ¡¯70 NBA Legend is a luxe model that celebrates basketball culture for the sophisticated fan. The shoes highlight the winning legacies of five franchises: the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, LA Lakers and NY Knicks. Today we place out focus on the Knicks pair.
The Converse Shoes Legend Knicks comes dressed in a Black leather upper covered in a snakeskin pattern. Added luxe features include the waxed rope laces, the debossed Converse branded All Star patch and the embroidered heel branding.
