Two tickets matched all five winning numbers for
Wednesday night's Take Five drawing. One of those tickets
was sold at the Price Chopper on Kendall Way in Ballston
Spa. The other was sold at a grocery store in Brooklyn.
Each winning ticket is worth $25,565.
If you have the lucky ticket in your pocket, you can
claim your winnings by visiting a lottery customer
service center or mailing you ticket and a claim form to
the lottery. Retailers cannot pay out prizes of more than
$600. Be sure to hang on to your ticket, you need it to
claim your prize!
Revenue from the California lottery supports public
education but it also provides commissions to stores
based on the ticket sales. During late March and early
April of this year, retailers across the state received
over $7 million per week in commissions and bonuses from
the lottery, according to officials.
