There are several types of procedures and depending on the
type of procedure, the cost can go higher or lower.
Endosteal and subperiosteal are the two types of dental
implants; however, subperiosteal is no longer use because
endosteal is much more effective and can stand longer. A
conservative estimate of the cost of the procedure can be
from $5,000 to $6000 depending on the materials used and
the length of the procedure. The first procedure would be
the surgical part where a titanium fixture is placed in the
patient's jaw bone area. The second procedure on the other
hand would involve the placement of a porcelain tooth over
the implant.
Where to Find a Dental Implant Specialist
There are dental specialists in the US that do offer dental
implants although it can be very expensive especially as
most medical insurance do not cover the procedure. With
that said, there are other places that you might want to
consider if you are thinking of lowering the cost of the
procedure. There are many dental clinics outside of the US
such as in Cancun, Mexico where you can get cheaper implant
done without sacrificing quality as they also use the same
brands but at a much affordable cost.
