 Ok all you Math  Experts!

What would U-47s dimentions be in 1/72? I especially need the length in 1/72 scale!

Thanks in Advance!

Given the dimensions of the real thing I would say:

length 66,5 m / 72 = 92,3 cm
hight 9,5 m /72 = 13 cm
beam 6,2 m /72 = 8,6 cm

 Hello My Friend!

Thank you for the help! And thanks for giving me  results in Metric.  Much easier to work  in than the old  english system. Sorry all you fellow Americans.  I wish we  would just bite the bullet and change over like the rest of the world!   No offense !

How far from Frankfurt are you?

Best Regards!

 Hello All!

I am in the Research  end of my 1/72 U-47 project. Am I correct in thinking the Port side vents are in a different arrangement than the starbord side vents on U-47? Looking at the reference pics on the Members Site, that is how they look to me? Am I correct?

Thanks in Advance,

Regards,

 Hi Again,

My wife and I plan to fly to Frankfurt  in August  or September of 2008. We will be driving down to Munchen then up to Nurenburg. My family is from a small town northwest of there called Seidwitz.

Regards,
