For the fourth year in a row, the Tissot watch brand has been the official timekeeper of the prestigious Tour de France race, which will start in Brussels on July 6 in 2019. During the race, divided into 21 stages, athletes have to overcome 3 460 km. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the yellow jersey of the leader, which appeared on the French Grand Tour in 1919, 16 years after the appearance of the race itself. Prior to this, the leader received a green bandage on his sleeve as an insignia. Tissot did not stay away from the anniversary and offers to celebrate it in a Tissot Chrono XL Tour de France watch, which comes with two straps: black and decorated with images of yellow T-shirts. The quartz chronograph uses a signature yellow color for counters. The 45 mm case has a gray PVD coating. The back cover is decorated with a racing logo.

A more controversial option for Tour de France fans is the Tissot T-Race Cycling Tour de France Special Edition. Their design is inspired by the design of a sports bike: ears and arrows should resemble a bicycle fork, buttons with brake handles, a welt with a tachymeter scale rests on a silicone ring reminiscent of a wheel, and the pattern on the back of the strap speaks of a chain. The steel case with a diameter of 44.5 mm is covered with gray and black PVD and has a water resistance of 100 meters.

A bicycle novelty appeared in the collection using T-Touch technology. The Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar Tour de France 2019 has a titanium case with a rose gold PVD coating. Thanks to the use of titanium, the 45-mm, framing an analog-digital dial, weighs only 79 g. Among the functions of this watch are: 2 alarms, time display of the second time zone, perpetual calendar with day and week displays, altimeter, countdown timer, chronograph.
